Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation Accepting Applications for 2019 Community Grants
The Delta Dental of Arkansas Foundation is now accepting applications for 2019 Community Grants of up to $30,000 to help improve the oral health of Arkansas residents.
WHAT ARE THE GRANTS FOR?
The Foundation’s goal is to bring oral health care access to underserved areas through the Community Grant program. In 2017, the program received a record number of requests from organizations that applied for more than $500,000 of funding to support a variety of programs, including charitable dental clinics, dental education programs, and other oral health initiatives.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Arkansas-based 501(c)(3) non-profits, government entities, and school-based agencies are encouraged to apply. Individual applicants are not eligible. Grant applications will be judged based on project innovation and potential impact on the oral health of people in Arkansas.
WHEN IS THE DEADLINE?
Community Grant applications are being accepted through Aug. 31, 2018. Recipients will be notified by December 2018. Funding will be available in January 2019. To apply, click here.
NOT SURE YOUR PROJECT QUALIFIES THIS TIME?
The Foundation offers two smaller grant programs available year-round. Grants of up to $2,500 are available through the Mini Grants and Super Smiles at School programs. Mini Grants seek to support innovative, solution-based projects that make an impact in the field of oral health. Super Smiles at School, our school-based mini grants program, seeks to expand oral health education and treatment by partnering with schools, school districts, and early childhood centers to directly impact Pre-K–12th grade students.
