Avoid Sharing with Your Kids
A recent Swedish study made global news when the results suggested sharing oral bacteria is safe for your child. While it might aid in allergy suppression, not all that glitters is gold. There is a trade-off, and that trade-off might mean painful tooth decay for your child down the road. Mutans Streptococci, the bacteria that is responsible for causing cavities, is primarily transmitted to children from parents. That innocent bite from the same spoon may just have set your child up for cavities.
